Join Claudia for a creative circle inspired by one of humanity’s oldest artistic acts, the making of offerings to the Divine Feminine.

Using clay as a medium, guests will journey together through the ancient ritual of creating small deity figurines to honour fertility, the womb, the Great Mother, ourselves, our mothers and the feminine essence that flows through all life. Together guests will be invited to explore what these ancient symbols mean today, and how the simple act of creating with intention can become a beautiful and powerful experience.

For as long as we can trace back, humans have been making little statues, deities and figurines to honour the feminine aspect of life. Archaeologists have uncovered them across the world, from prehistoric Venus figures to the hundreds of terracotta offerings dedicated to the goddess Tanit found in Ibiza. These objects are believed to have been offerings of hope, gratitude, fertility, protection and devotion. They carried prayers, dreams and intentions. The act of making them gave people a way to connect with something greater than themselves and to honour the great mysteries of life, birth, love and renewal.

Guests will be invited to explore inspirational imagery from ancient cultures, from some of the earliest figurines ever discovered to the offerings found in Ibiza and beyond. by working with one of our most basic and primal materials, clay, participants will be grounding in the present moment, and connecting with the ways of our ancestors.

All clay and materials are provided.

invitation : If you have a small crystal, shell, pebble or sentimental object, you are invited to bring it along and embed it within your figurine, making your offering even more personal and unique.

Connect with the clay

Our most primitive material. Just like our ancestors, we will hold clay in our hands, ground, center with the aid of some gentle meditation. You will be offered some prompts and suggestions to aid in your process of connection.

Work with the clay creating your own personal piece, a sacred creation made and infused with your personal intention. No judgement, no right or wrong outcome. if it's made with intention we are on the right path.
your gift

You have now created your personal piece, it may be an offering, a symbol of something or someone close to you. What will you now do with it? Who or what will it be gifted to? Only you can answer this.

a word from claudia

“It was the Tanit Cave in Ibiza that my imagination was first captured; Hidden within the cave, 600 small figurines were discovered. All dedicated and offered to the goddess Tanit. to her followers she represented the moon, water and fertility. I am fascinated by the creation of a tangible object holding such meaning and I often ruminate on the thought processes and intentions that these ancient people would have carried. This ancient practice inspired me to create this workshop and invite others into that same creative and devotional experience.

In this workshop, we will take time to sit with what this experience of devotion means to us personally. What do you wish to honour? What do you want to celebrate? Why did the ancients make these offerings, and why might we choose to make them today?

There is absolutely no need for any experience with clay. These can be as simple or as detailed as you wish. This creation is not about perfection. It is about intention. It is personal to you. It is an opportunity to create something meaningful with your own hands, infused with your own story, wishes and devotion.

You will leave with your own sacred offering to cherish. Perhaps it will sit on your altar as a reminder of your intentions and your connection to the feminine. Perhaps you will gift it to someone special. Or perhaps you will leave it in a place that feels sacred to you as an offering to the world. Whatever you choose, it will hold the energy of this experience and the memory of what you created.”
